Unlike traditional e-commerce platforms that prioritize volume, Comraidshops positions itself as a digital home for brands with something meaningful to say. The platform empowers curators and vendors to craft immersive brand narratives while operating fully-featured online stores — complete with analytics, earnings dashboards, and seamless checkout.

Technologies
The Challenge
The client needed a platform that could differentiate itself from mass-market e-commerce by prioritizing brand identity and editorial storytelling. Traditional marketplaces overwhelm with inventory; Comraidshops needed an ecosystem where curators and brands could tell their story while selling curated products through a premium, atmospheric interface.
The core challenge was bridging two worlds: the editorial richness of a digital magazine and the commercial infrastructure of a multi-vendor marketplace. Building this while supporting multiple user roles, offline capabilities, and seamless payments added significant complexity.
The Solution
We built a full-stack editorial marketplace with a multi-tiered user system (Customers, Vendors, Admins, Investors), a React frontend with PWA support for offline capability, and a Django backend powering editorial content, product catalogs, and order management. The platform features magazine-style article pages, curated brand showcases, and a fully-featured checkout powered by Paystack.
The frontend leverages Next.js 16's App Router for server-side rendering, with Tailwind v4 for cohesive styling. Cloudinary handles rich media delivery. Google OAuth provides seamless authentication while Workbox enables PWA functionality.
